There’s no single way to represent indigenous

In conversations around representation, the term "diversity" often reduces rich, distinct cultures into simplistic monoliths. To launch the Summer 2021 Nike N7 Collection — with designs inspired by ancestral artwork and Indigenous traditions, we connected athletes Lyle Thompson, Lauren Schad, and Kyrie Irving with members of the N7 community to celebrate what it meant to be visibly Indigenous.

Nike offered customers the opportunity to customize their own sneaker designs that helped ground the message that there is no single way to represent Indigenous.
