a closet full of nothing

Flipkart.com launched in 2007, quickly becoming one of India’s first unicorns and a dominant player in the online retail game. By the time 2012 rolled around, Flipkart.com was the largest online retailer in the country, and its marketing had focused primarily on one thing — teaching everyone how to buy stuff online. When the brand approached us to launch their Women’s Lifestyle Category we saw it as an opportunity to nudge the brand into a more mature, relatable voice.

The launch campaign was based on a simple but universal insight about the feeling of having nothing to wear even with a full closet.

It also gave me an opportunity to do one of my favorite things…dabble around with music. The music featured in this ad is an original sound track written and partially composed by me. We released the full length track as branded content for the audience to enjoy.
